Family policies
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
Please keep your child home with a fever, vomiting or diarrhea, and until they have been well for a full day. Tell us when a child has an illness that spreads, so we can let the other families know.
Drop-off and pickup
Every child is handed over in person, at the door. Tell us ahead of time who may pick up. We ask for ID from anyone we don't know, and we release a child only to someone on your list.
Meals, snacks and allergies
Cristiane cooks lunch at home, and we serve a snack in the morning and one in the afternoon. Tell us about any allergy at the tour; once you enroll, we ask again in private.
Naps and safe sleep
Babies sleep on their backs, in their own cribs, with nothing else in the crib. Older children rest on cots in the quiet room.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close on the main holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year. If Cristiane is ill, Rina leads the group with a substitute we know, and we message families early that morning or the evening before. When it snows, we tell families by 6 am whether we are open.
Leaving the program
We ask for two weeks' notice before a child leaves the program, by message or in person.
Would you like to see the home?
Come for a tour with your child, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll answer at the end of the day.
