How a child spends the day in the home
- 01
Step 1: Arrival
Cristiane or Rina meets each child at the door. Parents say goodbye in the hall, and we write down how the night went.
- 02
Step 2: Play
Blocks and books on the rug, drawing and play dough at the kitchen table, in Portuguese and in English.
- 03
Step 3: Snack and lunch
Snacks in the morning and afternoon, and lunch cooked at home, often rice, beans and vegetables. The menu goes up each week.
- 04
Step 4: Rest
Babies sleep in their own cribs, on their backs. Older children rest on cots in the quiet room.
- 05
Step 5: Outside
The back lawn and the porch, every day the weather allows, in the clothes you send.
- 06
Step 6: Pickup
Every child is handed over in person at the door, and we tell you how the day went.
The rhythm of the day

Every child at their own pace
Babies follow their own sleep and feeding times, toddlers move from floor play to the table when they are ready, and preschoolers help set the table and tidy up. The day has a rhythm, not a timetable.
